A budget longbow for the D.I.Y. bow building enthusiast supplied with easy to follow finishing instructions, leather for your handle wrap and arrow shelf, a Fast Flight Flemish twist bowstring and a bow stringer.

The semi-finished Woodlands Longbow’s limbs come tillered and aligned. You will need to refine the filed in string grooves, tip overlays, the arrow shelf, shape the handle and do the final rounding and sanding to the limbs and limb edges. The riser can be made with a choice of two African hardwoods. The clear glass limbs come standard with bamboo core laminates, or you can select Hickory as a veneers option.

Finishing Tip: Please select a draw weight of 5 to 10 lbs higher than the desired end draw weight you require as the amount of material removal of the limb’s edges and sanding during the finishing process will reduce the bow’s draw weight.

Warranty Disclaimer: The semi-finished Woodlands Longbow is a DIY order.  I can’t place a warranty on the bow because the finishing process is beyond my control. However,if you follow the finishing instructions carefully, and take care of your longbow it will provide you with a lifetime’s service.
